Jaap van Soest Data Collection
In 1976 Dr. Jaap van Soest published 'Olie als water', a groundbreaking study on the Curaçao economy in the first half of the twentieth century. This and subsequent studies on Curaçao resulted in 'Curaçaose cijferreeksen 1828 - 1955' . A wide array of quantitative data which Van Soest made fully available for future scholars.
